Female university student

If you're a domestic Year 12 student, the UNSW Gateway Admission Pathway is an alternative pathway to UNSW which considers more than just your ATAR. It offers early entry to UNSW or a significantly lower ATAR entry requirement for a range of degrees.*

UNSW College: Pathway to UNSW

If you qualify for the UNSW Gateway Admission Pathway but didn't quite reach the ATAR required for direct entry, you may receive a ‘slip back offer’ to study a Diploma with UNSW College.

UNSW Diplomas (delivered by UNSW College on behalf of UNSW Sydney) offer an alternative path to the second year of your chosen degree at UNSW Sydney. In 12 months, you’ll gain the skills and knowledge you need to progress to university, while learning the same curriculum as first-year degree students.
