As soon as you’re enrolled, dedicated teams are here to help you manage life at university, from advising on accommodation options and getting set up at on campus, to helping you study more effectively and looking after your health and wellbeing. And if you’re under 18, there’s a care program just for you.
Taking care of you

Academic support and progression
Once you’ve accepted your offer and enrolled as a UNSW College student, the dedicated online Student Hub is the place to go for support on your learning journey. Here you’ll find everything you need including Orientation and program information, links to Study Club, Timetables, Academic Calendar and more. But if you need more hands-on help, you can book an appointment with one of our Academic Advisors. They’re here to support your progress, listen to your academic goals and help you get the right habits in place to achieve them.

Life on campus - facilities
During your time at UNSW College you can immerse yourself in the full university experience – our building is across the street from UNSW Sydney’s main Kensington campus. As a UNSW College student, you have access to UNSW’s world class facilities, and you are part of an active, vibrant, and diverse student community of more than 60,000 people.
Enjoy access to a premier learning environment at the fully refurbished UNSW College campus. Designed to enhance the student experience in a bright, modern and sleek setting. The newly refurbished campus includes upgrades to the Student Common Room, Student Hub and Courtyard – featuring a student focused furniture layout, with relaxed seating, lounges and area’s for private group work or individual study.
Life on campus – health services
Your health and wellbeing is important. At UNSW College, you can easily access a range of facilities and services on campus to support your physical and mental health. This includes free, confidential consultations at UNSW Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS).

One of the best things about UNSW College is the lifelong friendships you’ll make, with people from all over the world! There are plenty of opportunities to meet people outside the classroom, and it gives you the opportunity to practise your English-speaking skills, build your confidence, and develop professional skills and networks.

Leadership and professional skills
There’s more to your degree than what you learn in the classroom. With your future career in mind, there are also ways to build your leadership and professional skills while studying at UNSW College.
Join the UNSW College Volunteers, a group of students who want to develop their professional, social and communications skills, while supporting the wider UNSW College community. You can join activities and excursions for free if volunteering, earning certificates, reference letters, prizes and invites to social events. You could even be considered for UNSW’s Ambassador Program.

Once you become a UNSW College student, there are teams of dedicated staff who are here to make your experience the best it can possibly be, whatever you need help with. Once you’ve enrolled with us, try one of the support channels below.
- The Admissions and Enrolment team: This team can answer your questions when you’re in the process of applying and enrolling in your UNSW College program (this is separate to the admissions process).
- The Student Services Team: Once you’re a UNSW College student, this team is here to answer all your general enquiries.
- Student Advisers: If you have some academic or personal issues that you need some help with, book an appointment with a student adviser through Moodle or reach out via email.
- The Academic Services Team via Student Services: This team is here to help you with exams, timetables, course documentation, Moodle and more.
- Student Progress Team: Reach out to this team for help understanding your results, managing your studies and progress, advice on future study options and setting academic goals (i.e. reaching desired GPA for degree entry).
